The SSHE Coordinator will be the primary contact for all Security, Safety, Health, and Environment (SSHE) matters within the Go to Market segment of Spain, Italy, France, and Iberia. This role oversees the Distribution Centre, Refrigerated Vans, and office environments across these countries. The Coordinator will lead and support the SSHE agenda, with a focus on achieving Zero Harm in Safety and zero Category 1 incidents in Environment, especially emphasizing Road Safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the main SSHE representative for Distribution Centres, Refrigerated Vans, and Office locations in Eastern Europe.
2. Drive the SSHE agenda, ensuring alignment with company goals of Zero Harm and zero Category 1 environmental incidents.
3. Maintain the SHE system to ensure compliance with company, industry, and legislative standards.
4. Develop, monitor, and support SHE improvement plans.
5. Manage daily SHE activities, including risk assessments, action management, and reporting.
6. Conduct SHE audits to ensure compliance and identify improvement areas.
7. Complete SHE reporting and analyze data to track performance indicators.
8. Provide support, advice, and coaching on SHE management practices to management and leadership.
9. Implement and monitor Road Safety initiatives for transportation safety.
10. Ensure safety measures in Distribution Centres and warehouses are followed.
11. Apply safety guidelines in offices and assess safety for all events.
12. Ensure compliance with SSHE regulations and standards.
13. Develop and deliver SSHE training programs.
14. Lead investigations and reporting of SSHE incidents.
15. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for SSHE performance.
Qualifications / Experience & Skills:
1. Cert IV in OH&S or higher in a related field.
2. Return to Work qualifications and experience.
3. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation.
4. Excellent computer and literacy skills.
5. Minimum of 5-7 years in SSHE roles, preferably in supply chain or logistics.
6. Strong knowledge of SSHE regulations and best practices, with leadership skills.
7. Relevant SSHE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
8. Growth mindset, ambitious, and capable of driving safety culture change.
9. Focus on consumer and customer safety, proactive decision-making, accountability, and team leadership.
