Overview
Exide Technologies is seeking a Fixed-Term Plant Controller (F / M / X / D) to replace a maternity leave for the Automotive division in Azuqueca de Henares, Spain. The role reports to the Controlling Operations Manager and Plant Manager and is responsible for delivering accurate information to support management, KPI tracking, and ensuring proper accounting procedures. The position is a fixed-term contract of 6-10 months.

Responsibilities
* Analysis of facility results and deviations (quantity and value), KPIs, working capital in production area, R&D projects.
* Calculation of product cost.
* Analysis of investment projects and control of pending projects and fixed assets.
* Participation in month-end procedures of accruals and analysis.
* Production issues and cost analysis.
* Production analysis and cost impact (Manufacturing Result Forecast), daily meetings, stocks follow-up, and efficiency.
* Budget transformation cost and budget fixed cost.
* Forecast accuracy for on-time report delivery and controlling reports.
* Manufacturing monthly report.
* Inventory management.
* Coordination and reporting of financial aspects of Lean Manufacturing (Excellence Programmes, Six Sigma).
* Stock Take Management (Raw Materials, Semi-manufacturing products, Finished products, and Fixed Assets).
* External and Internal Audit requirements.
* Provide and coordinate financial information in the plant.
* Responsible for related accounting entries and review of plant-related accounting financials.
* Line manager of one direct report.
What you bring
* Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Industrial Engineering and Management.
* Demonstrated experience analysing and developing costs of manufacturing and delivering products.
* Demonstrated experience managing ERP in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in cost control and reporting tools (Oracle Fusion, Excel, Hyperion, Business Warehouse, Power BI, etc.).
* At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing environments, with knowledge of manufacturing process structures.
* At least 1 year of experience preparing budgets, monitoring monthly and forecasting.
* Experience in distribution logistics control is highly valued.
* Analytical skills.
* Ability to work under procedures.
* Teamwork and collaboration.
* Initiative and results orientation.
* English at B2 level (fluent speaking). French or Italian is a plus.
