3 vacancies for Assistant Professor in the Aerospace Engineering Department.
Contract duration: 2 years. Estimated contract start: 1 February 2026. Estimated contract end date: 31 January 2028.

Requirements
* Field: Aerospace Engineering or related fields, particularly Aircraft Design and Manufacturing.
* Independent research potential, critical thinking, ability to cope with innovation and interdisciplinarity.
* Postdoctoral experience of up to 6 years.
* PhD or equivalent.
Responsibilities
* Help consolidate a competitive research program in one or more areas of Aerospace Engineering.
* Help build competitive proposals for research funding.
* Publish impactful scientific contributions.
* Advise PhD theses.
* All expected management, representation, and dissemination activities of faculty members.
Additional Information
* Gross salary 38–41 k€/year.
* Options for additional salary supplements offered by UC3M based on productivity and excellence.
* Standard benefits, including health care under the Spanish National System.
* Contract start: February 2026, preferably.
* Contract duration: 2 years. Successful candidates are expected to transition into a tenure‑track position after that period.
