WHAT WILL YOU DO?
We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and talented person to join our team and perform the following tasks:
* Perform Linux administration and DevOps operations.
* Own L2 incidents, including triage, impact assessment, containment, workarounds and clear resolution steps when possible.
* Escalate to L3 with evidence-based handover, including timeline, logs, metrics, steps tried and hypothesis.
* Monitor and analyze CPU, memory and I/O performance, identifying bottlenecks and correlating metrics with incidents.
* Manage virtual machines, including lifecycle activities such as create, clone, template, snapshots, vMotion, datastores and virtual networking.
* Write and maintain Terraform resources, variables, outputs and modules, following safe plan/apply practices.
* Follow runbooks, document deviations and apply safe changes with rollback awareness. xpzdshu
* Identify recurring issues, propose improvements and help prevent incidents through alerts, checks and hygiene.
WHAT TECHNOLOGIES, METHODOLOGIES OR TOOLS WILL YOU USE?
* Oracle Linux 8/9 and Ubuntu 22/24
* Linux troubleshooting tools: journalctl, top, htop, ip, ss and iostat
* systemd and service management
* Bash scripting and Python basics
* VMware vSphere/ESXi, including VM lifecycle, snapshots, vMotion, datastores and virtual networking
* Terraform HCL, including resources, variables, outputs and modules
* Windows Server fundamentals, Active Directory basics, DNS, DHCP, GPOs and authentication/permissions concepts
* Veeam Backup & Replication, storage fundamentals, Pure Storage FlashBlade, VxRail/vSAN concepts and Pulp
