Overview
Join to apply for the IT Support Specialist – Tenerife role at 22DOGS. We are an international VFX studio with studios in Milan and Tenerife. We’re looking for curious, capable, and collaborative people to join our growing team. This role is based in Tenerife and focuses on supporting the studio's technical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* Provide IT support to users on-site and remotely (Mac & Windows environments).
* Manage Active Directory, LDAP, and Group Policy configurations.
* Handle NAS and SMB shared folder permissions and structures.
* Set up and maintain Hyper-V virtual environments.
* Support network infrastructure including IP addressing, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
* Configure and manage remote desktop environments (PCoIP protocols, HP Anyware, Parsec).
* Maintain PCs, servers, and hardware across the studio and ITER data centre.
* Perform regular data backups and manage LTO tape libraries.
* Monitor and support software used in VFX production:
Nuke, Houdini, Maya, Deadline (a plus).
* Contribute to automating tasks through scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).
* Occasionally travel between studio and ITER for equipment maintenance or troubleshooting.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in IT support or system administration, ideally in a creative or production environment.
* Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.
* Solid understanding of virtualization (MS Hyper-V) and network configurations.
* Experience working with or supporting VFX software and render farm infrastructure is a bonus.
* A proactive, calm problem solver who thrives under pressure and enjoys helping others.
* Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities across locations.
* Proficiency in written and spoken English.
* Eligibility to work in the European Union.
