Howden delivers mission‑critical products such as compressors, blowers, fans, steam turbines, and rotary heat exchangers.Together, Chart and Howden provide solutions across the cleaning nexus™: clean energy, clean water, clean food, and clean industries—helping customers improve efficiency, reduce emissions, and build a more sustainable future.THE ROLEWe are looking for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead sales activities for Howden in Iberia (Spain and Portugal).This is a key role focused on business growth, customer relationships, and expanding our market presence across the region.Key responsibilitiesGenerate and close sales opportunities across the full Chart and Howden product portfolio in Spain and Portugal.Visit customer sites to understand requirements and develop technical solutions, supported by our Technical Services team.Build strong relationships with end users, EPCs, and consultants.Grow the aftermarket business, from new equipment through installation, commissioning, warranty, service agreements, and long‑term service contracts (LTSA).Develop and execute a profitable business and after‑sales sales plan.Manage the sales pipeline, CRM data quality, and sales forecasts.Lead and coordinate sales representatives and agents.Actively support customer service excellence and improve customer satisfaction (NPS).WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORProven experience in technical B2B sales within competitive industrial markets.Strong value‑selling skills and ability to create clear customer differentiators.Experience working with international and multicultural customers.Fluent in English and Spanish.Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar), or 5–10 years of relevant technical sales experience.Knowledge of industrial processes (Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Industrial, Chemical, Metal Processing).Understanding of rotating equipment, especially fans and heater products.Confident user of MS Office, CRM systems, and related tools.
