Job Description
A large community of Solutions Engineers across EMEA engages the COE team in various ways, including answering tenders, customizing demos, building prototypes, and supporting partners and customers with specific requests. Comprehensive training programs in technical skills and SaaS applications, along with the presales role, will prepare you to support field organizations across EMEA.

Role Overview
As a HCM solution engineer, you will provide functional expertise during the sales process, particularly in configuring demonstrations and responding to tenders (RFXs). You will develop broad skills spanning business, product, technical knowledge, customer interaction, communication, and IT market understanding. Successful Solutions Engineers combine product expertise with business acumen and can pursue careers in various IT and non-IT functions. They act as trusted advisors within the Solution Engineering eco-system and are seen as business partners by the Sales Community.
Business Skills
* Understanding of HR business processes (Personnel Administration, Recruitment, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Training, Payroll)
* Experience in a business role, preferably with HR Applications (PeopleSoft, Taleo, E-Business Suite, Fusion) or similar products
* Ability to translate complex HR requirements into functional solutions
* Ability to articulate value by translating HCM features into tangible business benefits tailored to different personas
* Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in HCM features
* Strong grasp of end-to-end HR processes and their implementation in HCM systems
* Eagerness to learn and master new products quickly
Non-Technical Skills
* Excellent communication skills, diplomatic and clear messaging
* Openness to work with diverse languages and cultures
* Results-oriented with a focus on quality
* Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn
* Ability to collaborate in virtual teams across countries
* Proactive in mastering new products rapidly
Language Requirements
* Fluent in English (reading and writing)
* Second language proficiency is a plus
