I will ensure policies, procedures, and best practices are in place and rigorously enforced. My tasks will include:
- Greeting guests warmly and efficiently, using their names when possible.- Answering outlet telephone inquiries courteously and efficiently.- Assisting in controlling the outlet's operational budget to maximize profitability.- Inspecting menus and wine lists for condition and accuracy, updating them as needed.- Participating in regular meetings and briefings to stay informed on policies, special events, and guest feedback.- Being knowledgeable about the preparation, ingredients, and presentation of all drinks offered.- Using appropriate glassware for different beverages.- Ensuring prompt and efficient service of all beverages according to resort standards.- Knowing guests' preferences regarding drinks to enhance their experience.- Preparing mis-en-place for cocktails and drinks prior to service.- Striving to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction with beverage requests.- Maintaining a clean and organized working bar area.- Being informed about all products and equipment used in the bars.- Having a good knowledge of outlet menus and daily F&B operations.- Recommending and promoting items as directed by supervisors.- Maintaining high standards of social skills and guest interaction.- Reporting maintenance faults following proper procedures.- Knowing menu prices and upselling when appropriate.- Ensuring guest billing accuracy and bidding farewell courteously.- Updating and maintaining guest history files to personalize service.- Preparing and submitting operational reports timely.- Keeping all equipment clean and in good condition.- Upholding Six Senses standards of service and operations, exceeding performance benchmarks.- Adhering strictly to LQA standards and guest comments.- Performing any additional tasks assigned by supervisors or management.QualificationsTo succeed as a Bartender at Six Senses, I possess relevant qualifications, technical skills, and experience in luxury hotel environments. I hold a hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized institution and have over one year of experience in a similar role. My expertise includes cocktail-making, beverage service, garnishing, and extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks.I am an involved, proactive host with excellent organizational skills, a passion for excellence, and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of luxury clients. I am capable of working in a multicultural environment and possess technical skills in MS Office and hotel systems like MICROS. I am familiar with food and beverage terminology, operations, wine service, cost control, menu development, hygiene standards, and inventory management. My command of English is excellent, with some knowledge of the local language and customs.I am committed to understanding and adhering to Six Senses guidelines, rules, regulations, and brand standards.
