Key responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end inbound logistics operations for imported KD parts and European local parts, including inland transportation from ports, inbound receiving, warehousing and delivery to the production line. Act as the OEM representative to ensure stable material flow and prevent production line stoppages.
* Define, implement and continuously optimize warehouse operational standards and SOPs. Supervise and guide 3PL logistics teams on‑site to ensure compliance with safety, quality and efficiency requirements. Drive disciplined on‑site (Gemba) management with a strong hands‑on approach.
* Design inventory strategies and safety stock levels based on production demand, lead time and supply risks. Plan and optimize warehouse zoning, location management and internal logistics flow. Execute cycle counts and annual physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy of at least 99.5%. Prevent obsolete and excess inventory and continuously improve inventory health.
* Manage material delivery schedules based on OEM production plans and takt time. Ensure proper execution of pull‑based material supply systems, including Kanban, sequencing and batch management. Oversee material preparation, kitting and line‑side delivery to guarantee timely and accurate supply to production.
* Monitor real‑time inventory and in‑transit status with high sensitivity to potential shortages. Proactively identify risks, initiate contingency actions and coordinate cross‑functional teams to drive issue resolution until full closure.
* Manage inspection, return and handling processes for defective or non‑conforming parts. Coordinate supplier claims related to logistics and warehouse quality issues.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
* 5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing logistics or warehouse management.
* Proven hands‑on experience coordinating directly with OEM production lines.
* Strong understanding of automotive pull‑based material supply systems and production‑driven logistics models.
* Proficient in WMS and ERP systems, especially SAP PP/MM modules.
* Native‑level Spanish and fluent business English, capable of reading BOMs, SOPs and conducting effective communication.
* Strong problem‑solving skills, high resilience and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
* Hands‑on, detail‑oriented work style with a strong focus on on‑site execution.
* Fluent in English and Spanish. Chinese is a plus.
