The SSHE Coordinator will serve as the primary contact for all Security, Safety, Health, and Environment (SSHE) matters within the Go to Market segment of Spain, Italy, France, and Iberia. This role oversees the Distribution Centre, Refrigerated Vans, and office environments across these countries. The SSHE Coordinator will lead and support the SSHE agenda, with a focus on achieving Zero Harm in Safety and zero Category 1 incidents in Environment, especially emphasizing Road Safety.
Key Responsibilities :
* Act as the main SSHE representative for Distribution Centres, Refrigerated Vans, and Office locations in Eastern Europe.
* Drive the SSHE agenda, ensuring alignment with company goals of Zero Harm in Safety and zero Category 1 incidents in Environment.
* Maintain the SHE system to ensure compliance with company, industry, and legislative requirements.
* Develop, monitor, and assist in SHE improvement plans.
* Manage daily SHE activities, including risk assessments, actions, and reporting.
* Conduct SHE audits to ensure compliance and identify improvement areas.
* Complete SHE reporting and analyze data to track SHE indicators.
* Provide support, advice, and coaching to management on SHE practices.
* Implement and monitor Road Safety initiatives.
* Ensure safety in Distribution Centres and warehouses, including refrigeration systems and personnel.
* Apply safety guidelines in offices, assessing and addressing risks for all events.
* Ensure compliance with all SSHE regulations, standards, and policies.
* Develop and deliver SSHE training programs.
* Lead investigations and reporting of SSHE incidents.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in SSHE performance.
Qualifications / Experience & Skills :
* Cert IV in OH&S or higher in a related field.
* Return to Work qualifications and experience.
* Strong knowledge of legislation.
* Excellent computer and literacy skills.
* Minimum 5-7 years in SSHE roles, preferably in supply chain or logistics.
* Strong knowledge of SSHE regulations and best practices, with leadership skills.
* Relevant SSHE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
* Growth mindset, ambitious, capable of driving safety culture change and continuous improvement.
* Customer focus, ensuring safety for internal and external customers.
* Proactive, decisive, and goal-oriented.
* Accountable for KPIs and company expectations.
* Leadership skills to coach and develop team members.
