For our Electrification and Automation team within Smart Infrastructure, we are looking for a Sales Engineer based in Madrid. In this role, you will act as a key interface between Sales and Customers, taking ownership of the analysis and coordination of complex Requests for Proposals in Low and Medium Voltage, protection, and automation systems, within an international and highly dynamic environment.

What are my responsibilities?

Identification and evaluation of business opportunities from early project phase to final purchase phase, with focus on the main Verticals Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Industries, Data Centers.

Designs and engineers the system down to detail to prepare Technical and Commercial offers, satisfying customer requirements.

Technical offer presentation to customers and Sales support during contract negotiation.

Cross functional collaboration and coordination with Regional/International Sales, Engineering, Product Development, Service...

Establish, maintain and improve customer relationship.

Ensure market intelligence and business forecasts through effective customer communication.

Project tracking and reporting in SIE Sales (Salesforce) and other internal databases.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Degree in electrical/ mechanical / energy / business engineering or comparable.

Professional expertise in Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Switchgears.

At least 2 years previous experience in related positions.

You are innovative, outgoing and open to new ideas and a changing work environment in a fast-growing organization.

Able to work independently and as a team player, in a multinational environment.

Available to travel for business trip.

Business fluent speaking and writing skills in Spanish and English are highly recommended for this position.

You possess excellent presentation & communications skills.

Being familiar with MS Office, Salesforce and OGT would be an advantage.
