The SSHE Coordinator will serve as the primary contact for all Security, Safety, Health, and Environment (SSHE) matters within the Go to Market segment of Spain, Italy, France, and Iberia. This role oversees the Distribution Centre, Refrigerated Vans, and office environments across these countries. The coordinator will lead and support the SSHE agenda, with a focus on achieving Zero Harm in Safety and zero Category 1 incidents in Environment, particularly emphasizing Road Safety.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Act as the main SSHE representative for Distribution Centres, Refrigerated Vans, and Office locations in the region.
2. Drive the SSHE agenda, ensuring alignment with company goals of Zero Harm and environmental safety.
3. Maintain the SHE system to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
4. Develop, monitor, and support SHE improvement plans.
5. Manage daily SHE activities, including risk assessments, actions, and reporting.
6. Conduct SHE audits to ensure compliance and identify improvements.
7. Complete SHE reporting and analyze data to track indicators.
8. Provide guidance and coaching on SHE management practices to management and teams.
9. Implement and oversee road safety initiatives.
10. Ensure safety measures in distribution centers, warehouses, and offices, including event safety assessments.
11. Ensure compliance with all SSHE regulations and policies.
12. Develop and deliver SHE training programs.
13. Lead investigations and reporting of SSHE incidents.
14. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications / Experience & Skills :
* Cert IV in OH&S or higher in a related field.
* Return to Work qualifications and experience.
* Strong knowledge of legislation.
* Excellent computer and literacy skills.
* 5-7 years of experience in SSHE roles, preferably in supply chain or logistics.
* Knowledge of SSHE regulations and best practices, with strong communication and leadership skills.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
* Growth mindset, proactive, and able to drive safety culture and continuous improvement.
* Customer-focused, ensuring safety for internal and external customers.
* Decisive, action-oriented, and accountable for KPIs.
* Leadership skills to coach and support team members.
