IT Systems Manager - IT & Telecommunications

Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Strategy and Governance: Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring cybersecurity, data protection, and renewable energy reporting standards compliance.
2. Infrastructure Management: Oversee IT hardware, software, networks, and systems, including cloud platforms, SCADA, and renewable energy monitoring tools. Ensure reliable infrastructure at remote sites and offices.
3. Cybersecurity and Risk Management: Implement cybersecurity protocols, ensure NIS2 compliance, and conduct risk assessments and audits to address vulnerabilities.
4. Data Analytics and Reporting: Design solutions for performance monitoring of renewable energy assets, supporting real-time plant monitoring and data reporting.
5. Team Leadership: Lead the IT team in adopting new systems and technologies, fostering skill development in emerging technologies relevant to renewable energy.
6. Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with vendors and collaborate with internal teams across engineering, revenues, finance, and operations.
7. Project Management: Oversee IT projects, including upgrades, new technology implementations, and integrations, managing budgets and timelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
Engineer with at least 4 years of relevant experience in management, technical roles, or similar positions. Strong IT skills are essential. Comfortable working across project phases with an understanding of their interactions. Fluent in English and Spanish; Italian and/or Portuguese are a plus. Must have the right to work in Spain and be willing to travel within Europe and globally if necessary. Ability to understand business and strategic objectives and develop effective internal controls and risk management strategies. An interest in renewable energy is required; experience in the power industry is advantageous. A strategic mindset and sound business judgment are essential.
