**We are an excellent and well established school based in Madrid looking to recruit an outstanding EYFS teacher to join our Pre Prep School from September 2025.**

Successful applicants must be native level English speakers and should have:
- outstanding GCSE & A level results
- a good honours degree from a British University (2:1 or better) or NNEB certificate, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Learning & Development or Cache Level 3 Diploma in Childcare & Education or equivalent
- a PGCE or other qualified teacher status for Early Years/Primary
- a commitment to safeguarding
- knowledge and experience of teaching the EYFS curriculum
- secure knowledge of of teaching Phonics and Early Reading
- be confident in teaching early Mathematics with a mastery approach
- be committed to providing stimulating and well-structured learning across all areas of the curriculum
- excellent teamwork skills and be willing to collaborate on planning and resourcing, developing and sharing schemes of work and resources
- be motivated and use initiative to contribute to success of the department and school
- a passion for education
- the ability to modify learning strategies to target the needs of individual students
- high expectations of pupils’ effort and behaviour, and facilitate this with proven classroom management skills
- be organised and able to prioritise to meet deadlines
- be an excellent classroom practitioner
- relevant UK classroom experience
- previous experience in an independent or international school - desired not essential
- excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively and seamlessly individually and as part of a team
- to be confident in using technology effectively in teaching and learning
