and advertising. Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled
Mocha Matchmove / 2D Tracking Artist with advanced experience in
PowerMesh, specifically focused on cloth and other deforming
surfaces under challenging conditions. This role is critical in
supporting complex shots and requires a strong technical eye,
patience for problem-solving, and the ability to validate work
through downstream workflows. You will work closely with the
Compositing and VFX teams, ensuring tracks are accurate, stable,
and production-ready for demanding sequences involving heavy
deformation, fast motion, occlusions, motion blur, and difficult
lighting. Key Responsibilities Create advanced PowerMesh tracks for
cloth and other deforming objects Handle complex tracking
scenarios, including fast movement, motion blur, occlusions, and
changing topology Build and manage auto-roto and roto masks to
support accurate tracking Use NukeX to test and validate tracking
solutions Set up projection workflows in Nuke to assess track
quality and stability Deliver clean, stable tracks suitable for
downstream compositing Troubleshoot and refine difficult shots to
meet production standards Communicate clearly with Compositing and
VFX Supervisors when required Required Skills and Qualifications
Expert-level knowledge of Mocha Pro, including PowerMesh Proven
experience tracking cloth and organic deformation Strong
proficiency in creating and managing auto-roto / roto masks Solid
understanding of matchmove and tracking principles Working
proficiency in NukeX, including projection setups for testing High
attention to detail and consistency Ability to work independently
and meet deadlines Desirable Competencies Experience in high-end
film, episodic, or commercial VFX Strong understanding of
compositing workflows and pipelines Experience working with HDR
