**FS Engineer Mechanical**:We are looking for a **FS Mechanical Engineer **with a main responsibility in performing Field Service activities on 4-Stroke Marine Engines and Propulsion Systems. The preferred location for this position is in Las Palmas de G. C., Spain.**Your role and responsibilities**The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You'll be working as a part of the Field Service Team in Spain. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support of our operation and technical offices.**Requirements for the position**:- Good knowledge of Written and Spoken English- Experience in Mechanical Engineering, especially on Wartsila's 4-stroke engines & Propulsion systems- Experience in Troubleshooting, Overhauls and commissioning.- Knowledge of Auxiliary Equipment- Availability to travel (around 80% of the time)- Good communication and cooperation skills, especially in multicultural environments- Attention to safety- Experience in team working- Reporting skills- Experience in dealing directly with Clients- Time management and ability to work under pressure.**Why you and us**Wärtsilä is leading the maritime industry's transformation towards a decarbonised and sustainable future.
