Job Title: Payroll Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist with expertise in local payroll processes. You will be responsible for payroll processing and related projects for designated locations, collaborating closely with Finance, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Your key responsibilities include:
1. Managing payroll compliance, efficiency, and timeliness for your assigned countries.
2. Ensuring accurate accounting through payroll journals and transaction accuracy.
3. Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, HR teams, and payroll providers like ADP.
4. Handling payroll inquiries and cases for your locations.
5. Preparing and maintaining monthly and annual payroll reports.
6. Supporting payroll-related projects and KPI deliverables.
7. Generating and reviewing reports for accuracy and usability.
8. Proposing process improvements and participating in team projects.
9. Staying updated on regulatory changes affecting payroll and benefits.
10. Ensuring compliance with local payroll regulations and benefits reporting.
11. Recommending innovations to improve departmental efficiency.
12. Developing expertise in payroll and legislative matters for your locations.
13. Collaborating with the Payroll team and Global Payroll Operations Manager for additional support.
14. Submitting monthly pension reports as per SLAs.
15. Maintaining cross-country backup and peer checks to ensure consistency and identify trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in Global Payroll Operations, with EMEA & APAC experience a plus.
* Strong knowledge of payroll statutory and legislative requirements across multiple countries.
* Experience with payroll journals and cost analysis.
* Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous.
* Proficiency in IT tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
* Proactive attitude towards process improvements and changes.
* Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
* Attention to detail and high accuracy in deliverables.
* Experience with outsourced payroll and connectivity.
* Experience in project environments and payroll change initiatives.
