Electrical Project Manager:
The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the electrical systems installation and integration for a data center project in Spain.
This role includes managing the electrical yard at ground level for gensets and transformers, ensuring reliable power delivery for the two-phase project.
The position is expected to last 20 months.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the design, installation, and testing of electrical systems, including power distribution, backup generators, and transformers.
Coordinate with CSA and mechanical teams to ensure electrical systems align with building and cooling requirements.
Manage subcontractors and vendors to deliver electrical components on time and within budget.
Develop and monitor electrical project schedules, ensuring alignment with the overall project timeline.
Ensure compliance with Spanish electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for electrical systems.
Provide technical expertise and regular updates to project stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience managing electrical systems in complex projects, ideally in data centers.
Relevant experience in oil & gas, hospital, or heavy industrial projects will be considered.
Strong knowledge of power systems, backup generation, and electrical infrastructure for critical facilities.
Familiarity with local regulations and permitting processes in Spain is a plus.
Proficiency in project management and electrical design software.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
