About the Role:
As Resort Manager at The Ritz‐Carlton Tenerife, Abama, you will drive the overall resort experience, leading multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional guest service while maximizing financial performance and upholding our Gold Standards.
Responsibilities
Strategic leadership and operational management.
Act as the strategic leader of resort operations and serve as General Manager in their absence.
Oversee key areas: Finance, Food & Beverage, Rooms, Kitchen, Engineering, Spa & Recreation, Sales & Marketing, and Human Resources.
Define and implement operational strategies aligned with brand objectives and ensure service excellence.
Drive profitability, meet budgets and financial targets, analyze reports, and optimize performance.
Maintain a visible presence, engage with guests, gather feedback, and drive innovation in services.
Lead, inspire and develop the Executive Committee and department heads, fostering a culture of collaboration, high performance, and inclusion.
Support talent selection, evaluation, and development, and implement an open‐door policy to improve employee satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
Proven experience in senior operational leadership roles within luxury hotels or resorts.
Strategic mindset with strong attention to operational detail.
Strong analytical skills and financial management expertise.
Inspiring leadership style capable of influencing and developing teams.
Excellent communication and decision‐making skills.
Guest‐focused mindset with passion for service excellence.
Experience in dynamic, multicultural environments.
Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages a plus.
Valid work permit for Spain.
