Job Purpose
The Business Development role for Cradlepoint (part of Ericsson) supports the vendor business lead in driving profitable market share growth through business planning, pipeline management, and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
* Engage with the Business Unit and act in alignment with vendor strategy to develop business across countries.
* Support the development of strategies and ideas for business growth.
* Build and maintain an accurate deal pipeline within the CRM system.
* Report weekly on sell-out activity, promotional performance, and pipeline status.
* Assist in executing business and marketing plans as required.
* Identify and address training opportunities for customers and internal teams.
* Serve as the escalation point for customer care issues from the sales floor.
* Communicate product information, pricing, offers, and promotions effectively.
* Lead call-out days and engage directly with customers as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Ideal candidates will have at least 2+ years in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor experience at a business development level, preferably from sales or product marketing. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential, along with experience in services and solution selling, strategic planning, and business case development. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required. Experience with security vendors is a plus. Fluency in English is required; additional EU languages are beneficial.
