PAt Faes Farma, where we unite passion, science and innovation to transform people's health, we are looking to incorporate a bResearch Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry /b. /ppWe are seeking to add to our Drug Discovery RD team a professional with a strong background in medicinal chemistry who will contribute to the design and development of new chemical entities with therapeutic potential. /ppbr/ppbWhat will your mission be? /b /ppbr/ppActively participate in drug discovery projects, from defining scientific strategies to compound optimization, contributing to the advancement of drug candidates. /ppbr/ppbMain responsibilities /b /ppbr/pulliContribute to the definition of project objectives and scientific strategies. /liliDesign and synthesize new chemical entities applying knowledge of organic and medicinal chemistry. /liliProgressively lead workstreams within medicinal chemistry projects. /liliManage compound optimization based on biological results, ADMETox and profiling studies. /liliCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams (biology, ADMET, pharmacology, etc.). /liliUse computational tools and collaborate with external partners to accelerate projects. /liliMaintain high laboratory productivity standards through efficient planning. /liliAnalyze results, prepare reports and communicate progress to the team. /liliParticipate in the drafting of patents, scientific publications and technical documentation. /li /ulpbr/ppbRequirements /b /ppbr/pulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy. /liliPhD in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry or related field. /liliMinimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment or academic laboratory in organic/medicinal chemistry. /liliStrong experience in organic synthesis (multi-step synthesis), purification and characterization. /liliKnowledge of ADMETox properties and PK/PD relationships. /liliHigh level of English (spoken and written). /li /ulpbr/ppbPreferred qualifications /b /ppbr/pulliExperience in flow chemistry, parallel synthesis or automated platforms. /liliInterest or experience in the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning applied to drug discovery. /liliAbility to identify and solve problems independently. /liliStrong communication and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary environments. /liliExperience or knowledge in ophthalmology (a plus). /li /ul
