Job Title: Regulatory Affairs Manager
We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Manager for the Quality & Environmental Team, reporting to the Quality & Environmental Director. This newly created role involves collaboration across departments including Industrial, Sustainability, Purchasing, Marketing, R&D, and Legal, within a growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement the Regulatory Cluster Roadmap for all operating countries and brands, ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Monitor regulatory developments and assess the impact of new regulations on the business.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging regulatory topics.
* Develop and adapt regulatory strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Support legal and regulatory teams in managing disputes, crises, and stakeholder conflicts.
* Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders.
* Provide regulatory guidance throughout product development, from conception to artwork approval.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate compliance considerations into product design and development.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and claims regulations and develop tools for label management, claim validation, and advertising.
Key Deliverables:
* Achieve strategic regulatory objectives.
* Provide legal and regulatory advice and vision.
* Define and implement the regulatory roadmap.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Empower the regulatory team with expertise and resources.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in regulatory affairs, ideally over 5 years in pet food, pharmaceuticals, or related industries.
* Bachelor’s degree in food science, biology, chemistry, veterinary science, or equivalent.
* Fluent in English and Spanish.
* Strong business acumen, stakeholder engagement skills, and risk management capabilities.
