We are partnering with a leading agribusiness company specialized in the cultivation, storage, processing, and export of high-quality fresh fruit. The company has more than 20 years of experience, is backed by an international investment fund, and is currently undergoing an ambitious growth and expansion phase.
With an annual turnover of approximately €20M, the company operates through a fully integrated business model covering agricultural production, packing, and international distribution, exporting around 80% of its production worldwide.
We are looking for an Operations Director reporting directly to the CEO, responsible for leading all operational areas of the business while driving operational excellence, process industrialization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Degree in Industrial Engineering or a similar field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in positions such as Operations Director, Industrial Director, or Plant Manager.Strong experience managing manufacturing, maintenance, supply chain, and quality operations.Analytical and data-driven mindset, focused on KPIs, efficiency, and operational improvement.Experience in the food or agribusiness industry is preferred, but not essential.Strong command of both English and Spanish.
Manage procurement of agricultural and industrial inputs.Lead packing plant operations, including production, planning, inventory management, and process optimization.Drive continuous improvement, re-engineering, and CAPEX projects.Ensure quality and food safety standards.Supervise storage and export activities.
