**Description**

Students in Key Stage 3 follow most elements of the British National Curriculum, studying heritage texts, modern novels, poetry and non-fiction texts with a focus on vocabulary, comprehension and writing skills.
At Key Stage 5, we currently offer the Edexcel Language/Literature combined course.
**Note that this role is not suited to teachers of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). Our EAL / TEFL provision is delivered by a separate department, called MEP (Mastering English Pathway). - Knowledge and experience of leading and implementing the national curriculum for England and Wales up to and including A Level.
- A native level of English.

- A genuine team player who is happy to contribute and lead initiatives within a successful and supportive department.
- Knowledge of Spanish, or willingness to learn Spanish would be an advantage.
