- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with major in accounting
- 7-10 years of experience in accounting
- Prior experience in supervisory or managerial roles
- Experience supporting or coordinating financial audits
- Strong understanding of: General Ledger, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statements, and monthly accounting closing reports
- Experience preparing: annual budgets, cash flow projections and monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements for management review
- Knowledge of operational cycles, including Payroll, Credit & Collections, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, MIS and general accounting processes
- Inventory management and warehouse operations oversight
- Experience supporting financial audits and preparing required documentation
- Understanding of federal and state tax obligations, returns, and informational filings (IRS, Hacienda)
- Knowledge of intercompany accounting, allocation methodologies and GAAP-aligned financial reporting
- SAGE, accounting software systems, POS systems and Microsoft Office applications
