Field Service / Assembly Technician
Location: Europe (preferred locations: Vienna, Prague, Copenhagen, Brussels, and Amsterdam), Remote

About the Role
We are seeking a hands‑on technician with both electrical and mechanical skills to support assembly, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support activities. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, safety‑focused, and comfortable working in collaborative environments and on customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and mechanical assemblies using schematics, mechanical drawings, and written procedures
- Follow established safety protocols at all times
- Work effectively as part of a team and take direction from lead technicians
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Follow procedures, documentation, and verbal instructions accurately
- Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail
- Troubleshoot and diagnose DC and AC electrical issues
- Communicate with internal teams to report defects and quality concerns
- Use a computer to perform calibration and commissioning tasks on devices
- Complete accurate and timely documentation for support cases, activities, and resolutions
- Collaborate proactively with support and cross‑functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution
- Travel internationally as required (typically 2–3 weeks at a time; initial training may require up to 5+ weeks)
- Work in confined spaces when needed
- Lift equipment and components up to 25 kg
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of electrical and/or mechanical experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- English proficiency at the C1 level (German language skills are an advantage)
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Understanding of electrical principles and standards
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems
- Personal accountability combined with a strong teamwork ethic
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Background in automation or robotics
- Experience working with ERP and PLM systems
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar ticketing systems
