The candidate will be welcomed within the Vendor Management unit, a transversal area within Telefónica Global Solutions responsible for managing end-to-end relationships with partners and providers. This includes economic management, strategic discussions, and operational support to business units.
Mission
As a Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for developing strategies, managing engagement, overseeing the cost of sale budget, and achieving economic targets for your vendors. You will manage vendors primarily from regions such as APAC and Eastern Europe, based in Madrid.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities
* Build and maintain relationships with assigned vendors.
* Own the cost of sale budget and control efficiencies.
* Develop and implement efficiency plans.
* Coordinate cross-functional activities with key customers in your region, including product development, new business opportunities, quality assurance, and validation.
* Support communication between vendors and other areas within Telefónica Global Solutions to ensure smooth operations for our customers, including commercial, service delivery, and service assurance teams.
* Create and maintain comprehensive action plans covering strategic, economic, and operational activities for each vendor.
* Assist the Vendor Strategy & Agreements Unit in negotiating existing vendor agreements and onboarding new vendors.
* Monitor business evolution, including new demand and cancellations.
* Contribute to the development of processes and tools.

Qualifications, Training & Experience
* University degree in Engineering, Telecoms, or related fields.
* Approximately 6 years of experience in telecommunications or vendor management.
* Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written; Chinese language skills are a plus.
* High knowledge of the global telecommunications industry.
* Willingness to travel.
* Data analysis skills are advantageous.
