JOB SUMMARY
Shapes and executes an overall marketing strategy. Communicates this strategy to the marketing team and other business units. Coordinates with sales management to ensure alignment of marketing and sales strategies. Evaluates past programs/events and develops new programs to generate tours and meet or exceed goals. Participates in performance management, coaching, recruiting, and developing the marketing workforce, including developing compensation plans to maximize productivity.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience; minimum 2 years in a similar position.
Required Qualifications
* Proficiency in reading and writing English (additional language required for certain positions).
* Willingness to work closely with the public in sales and marketing situations requiring strong communication and customer service skills.
* Openness to adapt to different cultural contexts based on location.
* Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
JOB SPECIFIC TASKSDeveloping & Executing Marketing Strategy
* Develop and implement strategic plans considering budget, site goals, and forecasts.
* Ensure consistent pricing and communication regarding previews across all channels.
* Develop tour generation programs, including owner referral, reload programs, off-site locations, and travel partner promotions.
* Collect and analyze competitive intelligence to enhance marketing strategies.
* Manage marketing mix to meet overall marketing costs.
Managing Tour Flow & Guest Experience
* Manage sales floor for efficient guest tour flow and sales discussions.
* Monitor guest experience survey data and follow up as needed.
Developing Programs for Traffic & Business
* Coordinate with marketing operations on new initiatives.
* Develop strategies and incentives to meet or exceed budgets.
* Analyze past programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Maintaining, Analyzing, & Communicating Reports
* Use performance reports to monitor and improve team and individual performance.
* Conduct market analysis and monitor budget vs. actual results.
Managing External Relationships
* Negotiate contracts and work with vendors.
* Build relationships with sales management and external partners.
* Coordinate with sales on guest eligibility and tracking trends.
Managing & Developing Workforce
* Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and coaching.
* Develop training, policies, and procedures.
* Participate in recruiting and selection processes.
* Develop compensation plans to maximize team productivity.
Contributing to Enterprise Management
* Ensure compliance with regulations.
* Update plans for management meetings.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
