As a People Advisor, you’ll partner closely with project leadership to align talent, workforce planning and people processes with the needs of a large‑scale pipeline construction project. Your work will support safe, efficient and high‑performing teams on site, helping drive organizational effectiveness in one of the most dynamic industrial environments.

Purpose of the role In this role, you’ll serve as a strategic HR partner to the assigned project—providing consultative support, guiding decision‑making, and ensuring alignment between people strategies and project objectives. You’ll manage complex HR activities, supervise site personnel processes, and strengthen the connection between business priorities and workforce capabilities.

\n

This position requires hands‑on experience supporting workforce operations in gas pipeline and pipeline‑related construction projects (MUST), ensuring HR processes are delivered compliantly and effectively in fast‑paced, high‑impact industrial settings.

\n

Core responsibilities

\n

HR operations & workforce management

\n

Lead end‑to‑end personnel administration for the project.

\n

Manage employee movements, site assignments, and personnel records.

\n

Oversee payroll incidents, attendance, leaves, and related HR documentation.

\n

Coordinate and execute onboarding and offboarding, including terminations, settlements and legal compliance.

\n

Support recruitment activities for site roles and talent mobilization.

\n

Compensation, benefits & compliance

\n

Administer compensation and benefits processes for project personnel.

\n

Ensure strict compliance with the Federal Labor Law, internal policies and local regulations.

\n

Maintain and update HR policies, procedures and documentation applicable to the project.

\n

Learning, performance & culture

\n

Conduct training needs assessments, develop training plans and ensure legal compliance.

\n

Guide employees through the annual performance evaluation process.

\n

Support leadership in building an inclusive, high‑performance workforce culture.

\n

Organize and facilitate engagement and integration events on site.

\n

Analytics & reporting

\n

Develop, track and report HR KPIs aligned with project needs.

\n

Prepare HR reports for local offices and leadership.

\n

Provide insights to improve workforce planning and operational readiness.

\n

Project‑based coordination

\n

Work directly with the project manager, discipline leads and site leadership to ensure HR support is aligned with construction timelines and contractor relations.

\n

Assist in resolving labor issues, workplace concerns and employee relations matters.

\n

Ensure effective contractor interface and communication across work fronts.

\n

Skills & experience

\n

MUST: Previous HR experience supporting large‑scale construction projects, preferably in gas pipelines, pipeline facilities or industrial projects.

\n

5–10+ years of proven experience in generalist HR roles.

\n

Strong knowledge of

\n

Personnel administration

\n

Compensation & benefits

Payroll processes and incident management

\n

Labor relations and legal compliance (LFT)

\n

Training and development processes

\n

KPI development and monitoring

\n

Experience as an HR Generalist and People Advisor within complex project environments.

\n

Ability to operate with high autonomy in a field‑based, dynamic setting.

\n

Education

\n

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field (required).

\n

Postgraduate studies are a plus.

\n

Software & tools

\n

Microsoft Office (required).

\n

Experience with HR systems and digital workforce platforms preferred.

\n

Working conditions

\n

Full‑time, on‑site (no telework eligibility).

\n

Based in Yucatán, supporting project teams directly. (Open to be relocated)
