Overview
The University of Hong Kong invites applications for the Assistant Registrar/Administrative Assistant I (several posts) in the School of Public Health. Appointment on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Responsibilities
* Work on a territory-wide youth mental health project to provide evidence-based information for early detection, management, prevention of youth suicide and mental health disorders, and promotion of resilience and mental wellbeing in Hong Kong.
* Maintain close communication and liaison with stakeholders; manage the communications team; publicity and engagement; knowledge dissemination and exchange; coordinate with NGO partners and key stakeholders; project management; and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Good first bachelor’s degree, with relevant academic and professional training related to the areas of duties and/or recognized professional qualifications.
* At least 8 to 10 years of professional experience in a public/quasi-public organization or a related sector, preferably with a higher degree.
* Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; mature and meticulous; self-motivated; good team player with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills; able to work on own initiative.
* Commitment to quality and results; excellent time management and problem-solving skills; professional work attitude; high level of computer literacy.
* Applicants with less experience may be considered for appointment as Administrative Assistant I.
Salary and benefits
