EMEA Recruitment has partnered with a global Industrial FMCG organization operating across international markets, currently undergoing a large phase of transformation and growth within its Supply Chain and Finance functions.
As the Global Finance Inventory Team Leader, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance, transparency, and optimization across a global inventory portfolio. This is a high-impact position with strong international exposure, partnering closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and Procurement stakeholders worldwide.
This role is based in Barcelona, Spain, offering hybrid working, and provides the opportunity to influence global strategy within a collaborative, data-driven environment.
The main responsibilities of the Global Finance Inventory Team Leader include:
* Owning global inventory financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis activities
* Monitoring and controlling inventory valuation, risk exposure, and working capital efficiency across regions
* Driving process improvements to enhance financial transparency and reduce inventory-related costs
* Ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and internal financial governance policies
* Partnering cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams to support strategic and operational decision-making
* Providing clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders to support global inventory strategy and execution
Candidate Requirements:
* Degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline
* Proven experience in finance, costing, supply chain controlling, or inventory management within a complex, multinational industrial environment
* Strong analytical capability with a track record of driving insight from data and challenging assumptions
* Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO, Central Finance) and strong proficiency in Excel and/or Power BI
