Job Description
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, demonstrating knowledge of menu items.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure tables are properly set and maintained throughout service.
- Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down for special events or functions.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication abilities in both verbal and written form.
- Proven experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Team‑player mentality with a willingness to assist colleagues.
- Keen attention to detail in all aspects of service.
- Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Food handling certification (may be provided by the employer).
- Knowledge of wines and cocktails is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
