Dubbing translator – english to spanish (spain)

We are looking for an experienced

English-to-Spanish (Spain) Dubbing Translator

for remote freelance work.
This role is intended for translators with

proven experience in dubbing/localization for the entertainment industry .

Candidates should have worked on

film, TV, streaming, or dubbed content

for major platforms, studios, or localization vendors such as

Netflix, Disney, Amazon, Warner Bros. , or similar.

You will translate and adapt English scripts into Spanish, making sure the dialogue is accurate, natural, and suitable for dubbing, including tone, flow, and lip-sync requirements where needed.

Responsibilities:
Translate and adapt scripts from English to

Spanish (Spain)

for dubbing
Preserve the original meaning, tone, and character voice
Ensure dialogue feels natural in

Spanish (Spain)

and works for dubbing performance
Review and correct translation, grammar, punctuation, and phrasing issues
Collaborate with the team to solve script and adaptation issues

Requirements:
Proven dubbing translation experience in the entertainment industry
Previous work on film, television, or streaming content
Native-level Spanish (Spain)
Native or near-native English
Strong understanding of dubbing workflows, lip-sync, and adaptation
Excellent writing and proofreading skills
Ability to deliver accurate work under deadline
