Call for Interest – International Commissioning Managers (HV Substations / HVDC / Power Plants)
We are currently looking to connect with experienced Commissioning Managers who have a strong background in either high‑voltage (HV) substations, HVDC systems, CCPP, or large‑scale power plant projects, particularly within electrical systems.
This is part of an ongoing search for multiple international opportunities across Europe and global markets.
This person will act on the same level as the Project Director in terms of influence, authority and visibility.
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience in commissioning HV substations (AIS/GIS) and/or HVDC converter stations
* Strong background in combined cycle power plants (CCPP) or large‑scale power plant projects
* Expertise in electrical systems, including protection, switchgear, transformers, and grid integration
* Experience managing commissioning activities across FAT, SAT, and on‑site execution
* Ability to lead teams and coordinate with clients, contractors, and OEMs
* Willingness to travel internationally and work on complex, large‑scale projects
Typical responsibilities:
* Leading and coordinating commissioning activities from planning through to handover
* Managing interfaces between engineering, construction, and client teams
* Overseeing testing, energisation, and grid connection
* Ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines
We’re particularly interested in professionals with experience working on EPC projects and within international, multidisciplinary teams.
