Senior Sales Executive – Air & Ocean Freight

Location: Madrid, Spain (Hybrid / On‐site)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Executive to drive growth across air and ocean freight services. This role is suited to an established freight forwarding sales professional with deep market knowledge, strong commercial instincts, and a proven ability to win and grow accounts.

This role requires hands‐on experience in air and ocean freight and strong CRM proficiency. Applicants who do not meet these criteria will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive new business acquisition across air freight and ocean freight (FCL & LCL)
* Manage the full end‐to‐end sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, quoting, negotiating, and closing
* Build and maintain long‐term relationships with importers, exporters, and senior supply‐chain stakeholders
* Grow and manage an active portfolio of accounts, increasing revenue, margin, and shipment volumes
* Collaborate closely with pricing, operations, and customer service teams to deliver competitive logistics solutions
* Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting within the CRM system
* Monitor market trends, rates, trade lanes, and carrier availability to support commercial strategy

Mandatory Requirements (Non‐Negotiable)

* Minimum 5+ years of proven sales experience in air and ocean freight forwarding
* Strong, day‐to‐day proficiency in CRM systems (pipeline management, forecasting, reporting)
* Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Solid understanding of international freight operations, pricing structures, and Incoterms
* Fluency in Spanish and English
* Based in Madrid or willing to relocate

Preferred Profile

* Experience selling across multiple international trade lanes
* Hunter mentality with strong account‐growth capabilities
* Confident engaging senior decision‐makers and managing complex sales cycles
* Self‐motivated, structured, and commercially driven
