Green Canaria is a non-profit association registered in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, Spain. We are dedicated to the ecological restoration of the coastal areas of Gran Canaria and the promotion of sustainable ecotourism. Our mission focuses on the recovery of marine and terrestrial ecosystems, reforestation of degraded areas, and protection of local biodiversity. Internship Description
We are looking for a Content Creator & Social Media Manager Intern to join our team in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The intern will contribute to enhancing our visibility, sharing our environmental impact, and engaging our international community.
Main Tasks
* Develop engaging content for social media, website, and promotional materials
* Write captions and structure posts for campaigns and events
* Interact with our online community and help grow our presence
* Contribute to content strategy aligned with our environmental mission
* Monitor engagement and suggest improvements for better outreach
Profile Required
* Passion for environmental sustainability and communication
* Good written and spoken English (Spanish is a plus)
* Creativity, initiative, and ability to work independently
* Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
* Eligible for Erasmus+ internship grant
