**Job Description:**
Project/Role/Task Description:
* Execution of New Data Initiatives: Manage the execution of new data initiatives by defining data management requirements, tracking and reporting on project progress, escalating risks and issues in plan execution and following defined change management governance processes.
* Data Management Deliverables: Create data management deliverables for prioritized initiatives such as data dictionaries, data lineage, data quality business rules and identify needs for changes in metadata within a domain.
* Data Quality Monitoring: Ensure that control models to monitor and report data quality issues are in place and adhere to data policies and standards for the data domains under leadership.
* Prioritized Issues: Identify, track, and work with the remediation team on the resolution of priority data issues root causes to improve data quality levels.
* Annual Review: Conduct an annual review of existing key data elements, data quality rules and associated metadata artifacts to ensure they are still fit for purpose and consistently implemented across the organization.
* Project Status Updates: Participate in project status and data quality results in first line of defense governance forums including leading monthly meetings with data owners and domain SMEs.

* Data Governance Experience: Demonstrated experience with data governance, data management, business glossary, data lineage, metadata, and/or data quality.
* Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact with senior level management; experience interfacing with multiple levels of the organizational structure.
* Analytical and Project Management Skills: Demonstrated analytical, project management and tactical planning skills.
* Results Orientation: Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Results oriented; ability to work efficiently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
* Self-Motivation and Analytical Skills: Self-directed, self-motivated, and demonstrated experience providing ideas and solutions to further business understanding. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
