The RoleWe're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Strategist to join our Business Development team.
This role bridges the gap between discovery and signed deal — transforming client briefs and discovery notes into clear, customized proposals that capture each client's goals and Input's value.
You'll work closely with the Revenue Director and company founders to craft strategic offers and narratives that accelerate our sales pipeline.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on problem-solving, storytelling, and connecting commercial logic with creative strategy.
What You'll Do
Review client briefs and discovery notes to identify pain points, objectives, and opportunities.
Translate discovery insights into tailored proposals and pitch narratives.
Write and organize client proposals using existing Input templates and service menus.
Collaborate with internal PR, KOL, and Creative leads to validate scopes, timelines, and margins.
Maintain Input's internal proposal library and continuously improve templates.
Track proposal performance and identify patterns that increase close rate.
Ensure proposals are clear, strategic, and client-ready within set turnaround timelines.
Must Haves
2–4 years of experience in communications, marketing, or PR (agency experience preferred).
Strong writing and storytelling skills.
Structured, analytical thinker with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple proposals and priorities at once.
Excellent written English and comfort working in remote environments.
Strong organization and accountability — thrives on deadlines and ownership.
Nice to Haves
Familiarity with HubSpot, Google Workspace, or Pitch.
Experience in Web3, fintech, or emerging tech industries.
Understanding of sales psychology and persuasion principles.
Experience managing proposals, RFPs, or client presentations.
KPIs
Proposal Turnaround Time: Average ≤ 3 business days from brief → pitch-ready.
Win Rate: Proposals within 10–15% of the team's average close rate.
Proposal Throughput: Number of finalized proposals per month.
Template Adoption: ≥ 70% proposals leveraging standardized frameworks.
