Tourism Internship - Tour Company in TenerifeWe're currently accepting applications for long-term internships starting from September or October 2025. If you're fluent in English, confident with people, and excited to work in the heart of Tenerife’s tourism scene, this might be for you. You'll be based at our Costa Adeje office, joining the team as a Club Canary agent, one of the top tour companies in the Canary Islands.
Important:
This role requires excellent communication skills. If you're not confident speaking and writing in English, this won’t be the right fit. Being able to speak Spanish is a great advantage, but not essential for the role.
Compensation of 225€- 500€ a month.Opportunity to earn bonuses.Work week of 35 hours.Working week of 5 days.Minimum internship term is 5 months, with a preference for longer durations to maximize learning and contribution.Standard working days of 7 hours.Possibility of being offered a permanent position.

Internship Responsibilities:
Create custom excursion programs tailored for visitors to the Canary Islands.Assist with booking and confirming tickets.Support customer interactions through live chat and telephone.Engage in office sales and perform basic website tasks.Manage and produce engaging photo content.
Educational Components:
Complete a comprehensive 25-hour video training course before commencement. And a video training course during your internship. This training covers essential tools and skills, including AI, CRM platforms, and sales/upsell funnels.Actively participate in managing and enhancing the company's brand and reputation. This includes involvement in critical functions like soliciting and managing customer reviews, handling complaints, and solving complex problems—skills that are highly valuable in any professional setting.Gain hands-on experience in a variety of roles, which provides a unique opportunity to understand the full spectrum of operating a luxury tour company, from customer interaction to high-level decision-making.
Skills and Qualifications:
Fluency in English (minimum B2 level) with excellent writing and speaking skills.Proficiency in Spanish is highly valued;
additional languages such as Dutch, German, Italian, Polish, or French are a plus.Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork abilities.Proficient in social media, with a positive attitude and responsible demeanor.Capability to handle stress well and solve problems effectively.Familiarity with luxury dining, hotels, and nightlife in Tenerife is advantageous.

While preference is given to local students familiar with the area, exceptional candidates from abroad are encouraged to apply.
