Job Description
SO/ Sotogrande, a luxurious resort located in the beautiful Sotogrande, Spain, is seeking a skilled and passionate Spa Therapist to join our wellness team. As a Spa Therapist at SO/ Sotogrande, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional spa experiences to our discerning guests, helping them achieve relaxation, rejuvenation, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
* Perform a variety of spa treatments, including massages, body wraps, facials, and other wellness therapies
* Perform cosmetic treatments
* Customize treatments to meet individual guest needs and preferences
* Maintain a clean, hygienic, and welcoming spa environment
* Educate guests on proper skincare routines and recommend appropriate products
* Assist in the reception area, including booking appointments and answering inquiries
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth spa operations and guest satisfaction
* Stay updated on the latest spa trends and techniques to enhance service offerings
* Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols
* Maintain accurate treatment records and client files
Qualifications
* Diploma or certification in massage therapy, beauty therapy, or a related field
* Previous experience as a spa therapist or in a similar role
* Proficiency in various massage techniques and body treatments
* Strong knowledge of skincare and wellness practices
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to create a calm and relaxing environment for guests
* Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and empathetic demeanor
* Time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed
* Additional certifications in specific spa treatments (preferred)
* Knowledge of spa and beauty industry trends
* Fluency in English and Spanish, other languages is a plus
* Physical stamina to perform treatments throughout the day
