We are now recruiting an experienced Sous Chef to join COYA Ibiza for the Summer 2026 season.
The ideal candidate has a strong passion for culinary excellence and a keen eye for detail. You will assist the Head Chef providing exceptional food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and assist the kitchen staff in all aspects of food production
* Evaluate food products to ensure consistent quality standards
* Establish and maintain a regular maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment
* Provide training and professional development opportunities for all kitchen staff
The ideal candidate for this Sous Chef position will have:
* Minimum 5 years of previous experience in a similar role in a high-end high-volume venue.
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Advanced knowledge of South American and Nikkei cuisine.
* Excellent communication skills. Must have high level of both spoken and written English and Spanish.
* Ability to maintain high standards of food hygiene.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Have the ability to inspire, motivate and train kitchen staff to deliver the highest levels of service.
* Must be friendly and attentive.
* Passion for culinary.
