We are looking for Animators from all levels (Junior, Mid and Senior) to join our offices in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. / YOUR ROLE: Create compelling and realistic character animation, ensuring it meets project aesthetic and technical standards. The complexity, autonomy and efficiency in this task will increase with your level. Work closely with the department lead/supervisor and production team to understand project requirements and integrate realistic character performance throughout the animation process. Your proactive engagement will grow with your level. Actively seek, receive, and concisely incorporate feedback from leads and supervisors to refine your work. Ensure your work meets departmental quality standards. Identify and escalate both technical and artistic challenges within the animation pipeline. Provide estimates for animation tasks to the Production Owner to aid in prioritizing the work schedule. Act as a resource and mentor for more junior animators, sharing knowledge, best practices, and helping to foster their growth within the team. / WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Creativity. Academic training/degree in Animation. Previous experience in a similar position between 6 months and 5 years regarding the level required and type of animation assigned. For Senior level: quadruped experience required (knowledge about animal anatomy, body mechanics and behaviour). Cartoon style experience is a plus. Solid knowledge about posing, weight and timing in Motion. Knowledge about Maya. Team working skills (communication, leading and prioritization of daily tasks). Technical comprehension on characters and rigs. Proficiency in English and Spanish (French and Chinese are a plus). / GENERAL INFORMATION: Office-based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.
