Role Summary
As Country Sales Manager – Spain, you will be responsible for launching and expanding the companies commercial operations in the Spanish market. This role will be critical in introducing our current biologic portfolio and preparing the market for future pipeline launches. You will develop and execute local go-to-market strategies, build key customer relationships, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute market entry and sales strategies for Spain, aligned with global commercial goals
Build relationships with hospitals, procurement bodies, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and regulatory authorities
Drive sales of existing biologic products, including those in oncology, autoimmune, and infectious diseases
Lead the pre-launch and launch of new therapies in the Spanish market
Establish and manage a local commercial team as business scales
Conduct market analysis, identify commercial opportunities, and monitor competitor activities
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and with key healthcare stakeholders
Ensure full compliance with Spanish healthcare and pharmaceutical regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or Marketing
10+ years of pharmaceutical sales/commercial experience, with a strong focus on biologics
Proven track record in product launches and developing go-to-market strategies
Deep knowledge of the countries healthcare system, including hospital procurement and public/private payer dynamics
Existing network with KOLs, hospital systems, and procurement groups in Spain
Experience building and leading commercial teams in a fast-paced or startup-like environment
Native Spanish speaker with fluent English
Willingness to travel across Spain and occasionally to HQ or global offices
