About the job:
For our growing division Corporate in Azuqueca de Henares (Spain) at the earliest possible date we are looking for a: Business Controller Spain.
Reporting to the Country Controller Spain your mission will be to manage the day to day activities of the Business Controller areas within the organization to ensure they tasks are delivered accurately and on time. This includes providing feedback on actuals, deviations, best practices and trends.
What will your daily responsibilities include in this role? (Include the Responsibilities and Authorities from the Job Description)
* Advise company departments by providing financial analysis, insights, and recommendations;
deliver budget feedbackand support key financial decisions and strategies.
* Coordinate the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, alignment with business objectives, and timely submission.
* Perform financial analyses including financial risk identification, economic assessments, performance reviews, research activities, and financial data management.
* Report financial findings and collaborate with financial and executive teams to support decision-making through regular reviews, accurate reports, and presentations.
* Participate in internal audits supporting the deviations solutions and the action plan implementation.
* Participate in external audits providing information about deviations and changes.
* Follow up the P&L impacts analyzing data and preparing reports and specific tools.
* Assure the correct impact of Stock movements in P&L and BS.
* Assure the correct expense recognition in the P&L (invoices, accruals or deferred expenses) and the allocation of these expenses in the correct GBU.
* Match, Analyze and investigate Purchase Price Variances and deviations. Assure the correct recognition in P&L.
* Reconcile and analyze the COGS. Investigate differences if any.
- Analyze manufacturing result in P&L.
* Check the Bill of Materials to ensure STD accuracy.
* Internal transfer impact analysis/reconciliation. Adjust the allocation to recognize each GBU profit.
* Analyze the Inventory valuation, overview the physical count of the inventory.
What we ask for: (Include the requirements from the Job Description)
* University degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance.
* More than 5 years of professional experience in one of the areas Finance.
* Experience in multinational environment.
* Knowledge in analytical and cost accounting.
* Business fluent English language.
* Proactive communication with colleagues.
* IT skills and good knowledge in IT tools to establish and develop cost control and reporting (Excel, Hyperion, Oracle, Business Warehouse…).
* Solid knowledge in reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
