Job Purpose And Overview
In the Industrial segment, develop and maintain sales of the company's product range, seek out new business opportunities and products, while managing current business activities to include Key Account management responsibilities. Participate in cluster budget and apply the sales policy in place.
Fundamentals of the Position
1. Commercial development of customer – 80% focus.
2. Prepare and implement objectives and budgets for your operating sector along with the N+1.
3. Develop effective and shared business plans for key customers.
4. Achieve budgeted sales and margin targets.
5. Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities to deliver profitable sales.
6. Develop a clear understanding of all Dawn capabilities and communicate those effectively to new and existing customers.
7. Manage all assigned accounts effectively, efficiently, and profitably.
8. Continuously improve knowledge of the industry.
9. Develop key internal customer relationships — Commercial, NPD, Supply Chain, Marketing, Participate in S&OP.
10. Ensure effective and timely feedback to all team members for personal development.
11. Conduct sales analysis and complete reports/sales funnel as required.
12. Complete weekly and monthly reporting promptly and concisely.
13. Communicate effectively with all departments within Dawn Foods.
14. Provide regular Management Information to the N+1.
15. Promote company products via trade shows and exhibitions.
16. Collaborate with NPD and marketing teams on new product development.
17. Manage overhead spend, including promotional funding and samples.
18. Operate cost-effectively.
19. Understand markets, customers, and competitors; provide market trend information.
20. Perform other reasonably requested duties.
Required Qualifications and Education
1. Experience in Own Brand and Branded product sales.
2. Proficiency in MS Office (Intermediate level) and Salesforce.
3. Ability to travel as required.
4. At least 10 years of experience in the Bakery Industry.
