The SSHE Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for all Security, Safety, Health, and Environment (SSHE) matters within the Go to Market segment of Spain, Italy, France, and Iberia. This role encompasses oversight of the Distribution Centre, Refrigerated Vans, and office environments across these countries. The SSHE Coordinator will provide leadership and support in driving the SSHE agenda, focusing on achieving Zero Harm in Safety and zero Category 1 incidents in Environment, with a key focus on Road Safety.
Key Responsibilities :
* Act as the main SSHE representative for the Distribution Centres, Refrigerated Vans, and Office locations in the scope countries.
* Drive the SSHE agenda, ensuring alignment with the company's goals of Zero Harm in Safety and zero Category 1 incidents in Environment.
* Maintain the SHE system to ensure compliance with company, industry, and legislative requirements.
* Develop, track, and assist in completing SHE improvement plans.
* Manage daily SHE activities, including risk assessments, action management, and reporting.
* Conduct SHE audits to ensure compliance and identify improvement areas.
* Complete SHE reporting and analyze data to monitor SHE indicators.
* Support, advise, and coach management and leadership teams on SHE practices.
* Implement and monitor road safety initiatives to ensure transportation safety.
* Ensure safety measures at distribution centers, including refrigeration systems and personnel safety.
* Implement safety guidelines in offices, ensuring safety assessments and corrective actions for events.
* Ensure compliance with all SSHE regulations, standards, and policies.
* Develop and deliver SSHE training programs to promote safety awareness.
* Lead investigations and reporting of SSHE incidents, ensuring resolution.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SSHE performance.
Qualifications / experience & skills :
* Cert IV in OH&S or higher qualification in a related field.
* Return to Work qualifications and experience.
* Strong knowledge of legislation.
* Excellent computer and literacy skills.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of SSHE experience, preferably in supply chain or logistics.
* Strong knowledge of SSHE regulations and best practices, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Relevant SSHE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
* Growth mindset: ambitious, proactive, and capable of driving change and continuous improvement.
* Customer focus: prioritizing safety for internal and external customers.
* Bias for action: proactive decision-making aligned with key objectives.
* Accountability: ability to deliver KPIs and meet expectations.
* Leadership: ability to lead by example, coaching and supporting team members.
