The SSHE Coordinator will be the primary contact for all Security, Safety, Health, and Environment (SSHE) matters within the Go to Market segment in Spain, Italy, France, and Iberia. This role oversees the Distribution Centre, Refrigerated Vans, and office environments across these countries. Responsibilities include leading the SSHE agenda, focusing on achieving Zero Harm in Safety and zero Category 1 incidents in Environment, with a particular emphasis on Road Safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the main SSHE representative for Distribution Centres, Refrigerated Vans, and Office locations in the specified countries.
2. Drive the SSHE agenda, ensuring alignment with company goals of Zero Harm and zero Category 1 incidents.
3. Maintain the SHE system to ensure compliance with company, industry, and legislative requirements.
4. Develop, monitor, and support SHE improvement plans.
5. Manage daily SHE activities, including risk assessments, action management, and reporting.
6. Conduct SHE audits to ensure compliance and identify improvements.
7. Complete SHE reporting and analyze data to track indicators.
8. Provide support and coaching to management on SHE practices.
9. Implement and monitor road safety initiatives.
10. Ensure safety measures in distribution centres, including refrigeration systems and personnel safety.
11. Apply safety guidelines in offices, conducting safety assessments for events.
12. Ensure compliance with all SSHE regulations and standards.
13. Develop and deliver SHE training programs.
14. Lead investigations and reporting of SSHE incidents.
15. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for SSHE performance.
Qualifications / Experience & Skills:
1. Cert IV in OH&S or related qualification.
2. Return to Work qualifications and experience.
3. Strong knowledge of legislation.
4. Excellent computer and literacy skills.
5. Minimum 5-7 years of SSHE experience, preferably in supply chain or logistics.
6. Knowledge of SSHE regulations and best practices, leadership skills, ability to work independently and in teams.
7. Relevant SSHE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) preferred.
8. Ambitious growth mindset, proactive in safety culture and continuous improvement.
9. Customer focus, ensuring safety of internal and external stakeholders.
10. Bias for action, quick decision-making.
11. Accountability for KPIs and company expectations.
12. Leadership in talent development and team support.
