Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity within our Semiconductor Franchised Division, as part of our current global growth strategy. We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer / Product Sales Engineer to promote franchise brands with a focus on technical capability, cost reduction, and supply chain risk management. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will engage with new and existing customers to win high-value, design-led projects for our growing line card of franchise distribution brands across the region.
The role involves working with a wide range of customers to discover and understand their new product design prospects, product development roadmap, and existing project AVL socket replacement opportunities. Collaborating with the Rebound commercial, technical, operations, and product teams, this role aims to promote and sell our partner semiconductor, discrete, passive, and other products across our line card.
Responsibilities
* Drive franchise business revenue growth in key customers to achieve revenue and margin goals in the assigned region.
* Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with diverse customers to achieve business goals and executional plans among the customer, franchise brands, and the company.
* Engage with customer engineering and component teams, utilizing sales and technical expertise to investigate, specify, design, and drive demand for a wide range of franchise products.
* Create new customer accounts by identifying potential leads, planning and organizing sales calls, customer visits, relationship building, preparing quotations, and managing sales opportunities from design to order fulfillment.
* Understand business challenges and market trends to position and recommend suitable products, technologies, or services to address them.
* Present technical and commercial proposals effectively to customers.
* Conduct regular business reviews with Rebound Franchise and customers on ongoing activities.
* Perform any other assigned duties.
Prerequisites and Skills
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
* Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or related field.
* Working knowledge of electronic components technology.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication in English.
* Strategic selling approach and business acumen.
* Relentlessly inquisitive to identify and develop new sales opportunities.
* Proactive, open-minded, flexible, energetic, and a continuous learner.
