Position Overview: As the People Manager, you will be responsible for leading the People operations of our Spanish subsidiary. You will collaborate with senior leadership to implement strategies that improve talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and talent management, ensuring a high-performing and inclusive work environment. This position reports to the Spain Country Manager and is based at Barajas Airport.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Partner with leadership to align People strategies with business goals.
2. Oversee end-to-end People operations and employee lifecycle management.
3. Manage recruitment, from talent acquisition to onboarding.
4. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
5. Guide employee relations issues and conflict resolution.
6. Manage relations with Unions.
7. Lead performance management and employee development initiatives.
8. Supervise payroll data sent to HQ.
9. Foster employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.
10. Collaborate with HQ to implement People policies and practices.
11. Drive organizational development, change management, and continuous improvement.
12. Analyze People metrics and provide insights for decision-making.
Qualifications:
* 5-6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in retail multinational companies.
* Strong knowledge of People practices, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and payroll.
* Experience leading regional or global People operations is highly desirable.
* Excellent knowledge of Spanish labor law and regulations.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for diverse teams.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
* Fluent in English and Spanish.
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
