ABOUT THE PROPERTY
Luxury hospitality property located in Sotogrande with an elevated beverage culture and guest -centric service philosophy. We are strengthening our bar team with experienced Bartenders who are passionate about mixology, product knowledge and premium guest interaction.
ROLE PURPOSE
The Bartender is responsible for crafting and serving both classic and contemporary cocktails, developing new beverage proposals, advising guests, and maintaining operational standards aligned with luxury hospitality environments. The role combines technical mixology expertise with guest engagement and sales orientation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop cocktail menus (alcoholic and non -alcoholic), spirits selections, liqueur lists and related beverage offerings.
• Create new cocktails and update classic recipes with contemporary techniques and presentation styles.
• Keep up to date with trends in beverage preparation, garnishing, mixology techniques and ingredient innovation.
• Interact with guests, offering product knowledge on ingredients, origins, preparation methods and drink history to enhance the experience.
• Advise guests on beverage choices based on preferences, food pairings and occasion.
• Promote beverage sales through informed recommendations and upselling strategies.
• Perform simple food preparation and regeneration using rapid -heating equipment (e.g. Merrychef), complying with food safety, hygiene, thermal handling and occupational risk protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar stations, storage areas and equipment, ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations.
• Report any breakages, malfunctions or irregularities to the Bar Supervisor.
• Support the Bar Supervisor in operational decisions and contribute ideas for improvement and innovation.
• Ensure proper care and use of bar equipment, tools and glassware.
• Report any suspicious activities and maintain guest confidentiality at all times.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality, with at least 1 year in the luxury segment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with speed, precision and operational discipline.
• Positive attitude, service -oriented mindset and ability to work under pressure.
• High level of English and intermediate level of Spanish.
• Mixology or hospitality -related training is valued.
• Legal right to work in Spain.
• Mandatory: Valid driving licence and own vehicle.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• 24.500€ gross annual salary
